Re: One Great Tip for a WDW Newbie
Make sure to keep some form of rain gear with you, especially during the summer (showers are almost a given then).

Each Disney park has a locker room where you can rent a small or large locker for the day. I've used them to stash jackets for cooler nights, extra pair of shoes (just in case), and for purchases when it's too late in the day for them to send them to the pick-up area at the front of the park (if you don't have them ship to your hotel).

Take a bathroom break before getting in line for a ride with a 45+ wait time. Especially if you have little ones. Theres nothing worse than getting half way through the line and having to leave because sometimes has to go!

Me too. Part of why I am not fond of that park (I have other gripes).
So, to keep the thread going...another tip?
Don't ignore the railroad at MK, it's not a ride. It's a great way to get around the park that is stress free! (RIP Ski Lift though)

Go on People Mover at night, either during the fireworks or right after. The castle is lit up and everything sounds and looks so beautiful. It is like I am in a whole different world when I ride it at night!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Dole Whip.

Dole Whip on the Disney Food Blog
As for one great tip, I'd suggest making full use of fast passes.
Know what rides uses them, understand the system and use them to save time in the parks.

Just a dream away!

- You can always order the free maps at Disney's website. This can help you become familiar with the parks as well as having wonderful keepsakes after your trip. They are self designed so you can put what you want on each map. The only thing you need to do is create an account with Disney's website which comes in handy with reservations anyway.
