Fantasyland Expansion Grand Opening

It was just released today that phase two of the Fantasyland expansion in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will start previewing on November 19, 2012 and the grand ending will be on December 6, 2012. Included in the opening are:

Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid
Be Our Guest Restaurant
Enchanted Tales with Belle
Ariel’s Grotto
Gaston’s Tavern
Bonjour! Village Gifts

The princess meet-and-great will be sometime in 2013 with the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train following sometime in 2014.

I don't know about anyone else but, I am super excited about this! My DH and I are hoping to be arriving to WDW on December 8th for our 8day trip. The timing couldn't be more perfect

Very cool. I will miss it, but maybe it's worth going back to DW next year, instead of DL or DLP, as I'm planning now.

It's all about the Benjamins! DW continues to be a great value for the money, even though I'd love to see other parks!

Oh how I would love to go for the opening!! I'm going in Sept. With my parents, grandparents, and little sister. But at least I might get a chance to ride the Seven Dwarves mine ride when I go in 2014 with my best friend.

I hear ya on that one. I've told my DH that we are going to eat dinner here even if it means paying out of pocket. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite movie so there is no way we are skipping it. I'm just hoping we can book the trip soon. We keep hitting snags.

What exactly is a "preview"?

I bet it's going to be super crowded on the 6th. We're scheduled to be in the MK on the 7th.

The thing I like about Be Our Guest is if you can't get dinner reservations you can still go to the quick service lunch.

I'm guessing the preview will be where you can test out the new offerings (but there's always a chance of the rides going down). I've done CM previews for attractions, and also rode the Despicable Me attraction during a soft opening preview
