Splash Mountain

Hop a hollowed-out log and follow Brer Rabbit into his laughin' place. Inside you'll discover a world full of animals that will start you singing "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" -- until you are sent screaming into the Briar Patch on a five-storey drop.

 

Facts:

The Splash Mountain attraction is based upon the stories of "Brer Rabbit, Tar Baby, and Uncle Remus."

Disney imagineers like to incorporate part of themselves in the attractions they create. A imagineer who helped create SPLASH MOUNTAIN is no exception. Just before the Big Drop a little squirrel pops out from the ceiling and in a high pitched voice says "F-S-U" , which stands for Florida State University. The school where the imagineer graduated .

According to the Keys to the Kingdom tour there are a total of 67 hidden Mickeys on the Splash Mountain ride.

Just before the big drop is a side view of Mickey.
