Space Mountain

It looms 55 metres (180 feet) over the horizon, beckoning experienced thrill seekers and weak-kneed one-timers alike. Go ahead. Jockey this rocket ship ride through the inky blackness of outer space. Everything's scarier in the dark, especially roller coasters. So don't be afraid to scream your head off.

 

 

 

 

Facts:

Space Mountain is in fact the tallest structure in the Magic Kingdom, taller than Cinderella Castle, but it was "sunk" about 15 feet into the ground as to not take focus away from the landmark of the park: Cinderellas Castle.

Every third window of stars while you wait in line has a Mickey constellation.

During one of the news reports in the video shown in the queue area, a satellite comes toward the camera and it is a three-dimensional, fully-detailed Mickey head.
