Reese Witherspoon pulled a Vin Diesel on Thursday when she tweeted a photo teasing a secret Disney-related project.
“Working on a #SecretProject….. Can’t wait to share it with y’all….,” Witherspoon wrote on Twitter, accompanied by a photo of her holding a Disney guest entrance pass.

So, what could she be doing on the Disney lot? In May, EW confirmed that the Oscar winner will produce and star in a Tinkerbell-centered Peter Pan spinoff, titled Tink. The new project will be a live-action film, falling in line with Disney’s recent remakes of Maleficent and Alice in Wonderland. Victoria Strouse, the screenwriter of the upcoming Finding Dory, is attached to the Tink script.
Four years ago, Witherspoon signed on for Disney’s Wish List, a romantic comedy about a young girl who makes a wish on a coin she throws into a well. The coin gets stuck in the well, though, so her 10 wishes don’t come true until she’s a career woman in her 20s. Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) had been in negotiations to direct Wish List, which has been in the works since 2001.
Or maybe she’s on the lot for something else entirely.
Next year, Witherspoon will appear in HBO’s Big Little Lies with Nicole Kidman, and in 2017, Alexander Payne’s dramedy Downsizing alongside Matt Damon.
