when i got on this ride the first time, i was terrified! i felt like i was going to fall out of my seat (they end in the middle of your thigh, ya know?), and i'm terrified of heights!!! i only rode the ride cuz my sister said i had to ride it!!! i was so tense, nervous, and uncomfortable. i probably left finger marks in the handles on each side of my seat...now, though, i love it!!! i'm still a little nervous at first when i get on, but i love it now. definitely a great ride!!! THANKS CALIFORNIA!!!

This was my favorite ride out of all the Disney parks in Orlando. My only complaint is that there should be better transitioning between themes instead of a sudden change in scenery. Also, they could probably show some scenes from around the country or globe, not just from California.

I would have rated this attraction as EXCELLANT, but for a few \"rough edges\". The wait is Loooong, so be sure to get a FastPass as soon as you arrive at EPCOT, when we were there over Thanksgiving weekend the standby line wait time was 105 minutes! We had FastPasses and still had a 10-20 minute wait, but it was worth it!
The complaints I would have are that 1) they need to do better transitioning between scenes, maybe insert flying through a cloud, instead of just a sudden switch. 2) even the FastPass Queue line needs more theme decorations, it was like a warehouse corridor, too sterile! 3) It seemed to me that the picture was a bit blurry at times, especially if you looked down at scenery, this kind of took away some of the illusion of \"Soaring\" over the sights.
Disney does a good job warning about ride effects, but you should really head the warning about fear of heights! I\'ve never had a problem that I remember about heights on a ride, but was in a mild panic on this one. I managed to enjoy the ride (mostly) but did have to keep silently repeating to myself; \"I\'m strapped in, I can\'t fall!\" I have been on a skyride like the one that used to be at the MK and had no problem with the height even though I only had a lap-bar to keep me in the seat. I would most likely still go again, afterall, that film is SPECTACULAR! However, I will approach the experience differently next time!
