Well online & in brochures, this looks like a nice, affordable place to stay. Boy were we shocked when we pulled up! The place looked to be a hundred years old! But, knowing that we have stayed in some places that may not look amazing outside but the staff & rooms more than compensated for it, we gave it a shot. This is one book we should have judged by the cover The room looked as if the cleaning person simply walked through & picked up garbage, and tossed the comforter back over the bed. It was very old looking & feeling in the room. One of my children even made the comment that it was "creepy". I understand that value-priced rooms are not going to be 4-star, but i also dont expect a dump. I have stayed in much nicer hotels for the same and even less money. The location is nice, but I'd say thats just about teh only thing this hotel has going for it.
