My boyfriends family introduced me to Disney and now I'm the biggest fan. Part of the excitment is the Boardwalk. I love hearing "Welcome Home" the minute we walk in. Everyone there is so helpful and cheerful. I love going there cause I always feel pampered. Can't wait to be back home...Boardwalk that is =)

To say I have stayed at my share of Disney Hotels this is second best to the Grand. The Boardwalk is a great hotel to stay. The staff there is excellent and very helpful for convenience to MGM and Epcot you cant beat it the boat ride to MGM is great and to say you have a choice of walking or riding to Epcot was a plus. The rooms was very spacious and convenient for the five of us.The actual boardwalk is great for the whole family and it was the next best thing to downtown disney. The only down side was 2 things 1st was the bathroom the tub was alittle rusty and needed to be redone and lastly the bus to downtown disney was the slowest of them all we waited 40 min. For it to come one night when we wanted to go eat dinner at downtown disney that we scratched it and ate on the boardwalk. Other than that a great hotel.

I was at this resort during Hurricane Charlie in August 2004. The staff was absolutely wonderful the entire time. They provided packaged meals for lunch and dinner free of charge and ran loops of disney movies in the rooms to keep children occupied. They made the most of a bad situation. For this I will always be gratefule to the staff at the Boardwalk. Aside from that experience I love the resort anyway. The boardwalk atmosphere in the evening is great. I also like being able to walk to, or ferry to both EPCOT and MGM. My kids love the pool with the giant clown slide.

Would recommend staying there if you are looking into the deluxe resorts. There is so much to do after you return from the parks, you can enjoy the Boardwalk type seen with the dollar type game vendors, to the two game rooms, one near the pool and also the one at the E.S.P.N club.for the adults you can enjoy the clubs if you want to. We enjoyed so mush that we now own a piece of it.
