Two Disney-controlled cities on Tuesday approved a new contract with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to serve the resort for the next three years.
The cities of Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista, which are primarily funded by Disney, will pay $7.6 million next fiscal year, which starts Oct. 1. The amount will increase annually. In the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2018, the cities will pay $8.3 million.
