    • 2 pounds fresh green beans
    • 1 inch medium red onion sliced 1/2 inch thick
    • 3 cloves garlic fresh, whole
    • 3 Tablespoons canola oil or vegetable oil
    • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
    • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
    • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
    • fresh ground black pepper To Taste
    • 1 pound bacon crispy, crumbled

    Ingredients
    • 2 pounds fresh green beans
    • 1 inch medium red onion sliced 1/2 inch thick
    • 3 cloves garlic fresh, whole
    • 3 Tablespoons canola oil or vegetable oil
    • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
    • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
    • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
    • fresh ground black pepper To Taste
    • 1 pound bacon crispy, crumbled
    Instructions
    1. Wash green beans in cold water.
    2. Snip both ends and break in half.
    3. Bring a saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil.
    4. Add beans and blanch for 1 minute.
    5. Strain.
    6. Heat a wok or fry pan over medium high heat.
    7. Add oil, then add garlic and sliced onions and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
    8. Add green beans and stir-fry for 2-4 minutes depending on how well done you prefer your beans cooked.
    9. Add soy, seasonings and continue to stir-fry for 1 more minute.
    10. Adjust seasonings if desired.
    11. Garnish with crispy crumbled bacon pieces.
