Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza is planning a larger concept restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort property, with 5,000 square feet and seating for 200 diners.
Downtown Disney is getting a fast casual pie joint when Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza opens at the shopping district in May 2016.
The restaurant, which already has a location near the University of Central Florida, is planning a larger concept restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort property, with 5,000 square feet and seating for 200 diners.
Blaze makes create-your-own, ready-in-3-minutes pizzas using super hot ovens. The pizzas are about 11-inches each.
The new restaurant comes as Disney prepares to convert the property from Downtown Disney to Disney Springs and add several new restaurants, such as the recently opened the Boathouse, and renovations to others such as Planet Hollywood.
“True to Disney’s high standards, we are building an amazing flagship restaurant that will include interesting architectural elements, great service and fantastic meals,”
said Rick Wetzel, co-founder of Blaze Pizza in a statement.
