Is the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue Coming Back to Walt Disney World?

We’re thrilled to share the news that the wildly famous Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue may be returning to the stage at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort in Walt Disney World sooner rather than later! While nothing has been confirmed by Disney, several Cast Members have reportedly been re-called to audition for the rootin’ tootin’ dinner performance.

The cast of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is being summoned back, according to a report from Streaming the Magic. Happiest Podcast on Earth, for example, has turned to Twitter to share the news, writing:

On Friday, I had the honor of visiting Magic Kingdom for the 50th anniversary. One of the highlights of my day was seeing Randy, the original pianist for Casey’s Corner in 1971, perform once again. At the end of one of his songs, a Guest asked what his next plans are and if he would continue to play the piano at Casey’s. He remarked that no, unfortunately, he would not be playing at Casey’s Corner except for that one day. But, he stated that he would be performing at Pioneer Hall soon! That can only mean one thing, right?! The return of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue!

Please treat this as a rumor because Disney has yet to make an official statement.
