Indiana Jones fan? Well, the new Downtown Disney eatery called Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is set to open on Tuesday, September 22nd.
Hints of the opening date surfaced yesterday via social media and theme park sources, but now Downtown Disney’s Twitter account confirmed it: “Big news! The opening date for Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is set for Tuesday, 9/22, at @WDWDowntown.”

The Hangar Bar is in the Landing area of Disney Springs, which basically covers the footprint of the former Pleasure Island. The new establishment will seat 150 and is located between two restaurants — the Boathouse, which opened this spring, and Paradiso 37.
Among the Hangar Bar menu items, Disney says, will be Dr. Elsa’s She-Deviled Eggs; goat cheese-stuffed dates with Marcona almonds and pickled veggies; salads and dips served with injera (bread) and naan crisps; Tanis Tacos (falafel, shredded lettuce and cucumber-tomato salad) and pretzels with house-made mustard and beer-cheese fondue.
Another Disney restaurant will be debuting nearby the following week. Morimoto Asia is set to open in the old Mannequins structure on Sept. 30.
The transformation into Disney Springs is expected to be complete next year.
