As a result of a strike that took place between Cspan and its unionized tugboat personnel, the Disney Wonder was unable to depart from Vancouver, British Columbia on Monday. The ship has not moved from its mooring at Canada Place as of the early hours of Tuesday morning.

According to Global News, a passenger was given a warning that it is uncertain how this delay may affect the agenda for the remainder of the journey and that they should prepare themselves accordingly.

The strike also made the Sunday departure of the Celebrity Eclipse more difficult to accomplish.
