The whole Star Wars fanbase was totally shocked this week when the blockbuster Disney+ series The Mandalorians would say goodbyes after the next third season. There’s one catch although Din Djarin and Grogu’s far, far away adventures continue on a different program in a different way despite the alleged cancelation from the Mandalorian according to the reported we published last August 26.

As of this writing, there has been no update to the initial claim, which was first disclosed by the Twitter account Star Wars Only. Now, Cinelinx’s Editor-in-Chief Jordan Maison has taken to the social networking site to share his own scoop. He hasn’t heard anything regarding The Mandalorian being cancelled after Season 3, although he does remark that the series will only run for one more season after that.

If the reported title change is accurate, it’s reasonable to infer that Lucasfilm intends to offer a larger tale after Season 4 that doesn’t only focus upon “The Mandalorian” or even Grogu. I mean, Season 2 pretty much showed that the show’s plot is about much more than Din Djarin’s origin and the Mandalore throne, so I think altering the title is the “way” to go to better match the show’s ever-evolving narrative.
