You are invited to go behind the scenes to see the magic that happens in one of Disney’s parks as Josh Gad narrates the Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom beginning today, Friday, September 25, on Disney+.
Animal Kingdom is the largest theme park in the world, covering 580 acres of land, dedicated to the environment and animal conservation. Opening on Earth Day in 1998, this park has become the second-most popular in Disney World just behind Magic Kingdom.
Joe Rhode, legendary Walt Disney Imagineer, told Forbes that the entire park was built around the animals, not the other way around. To house their largest animals, like giraffes, rhinos and elephants, to their smallest like frizzle chickens and Asian small-clawed otters, the park was built to serve their 300 species and 5,000-plus animals in honor of Walt Disney’s original philosophy of conservation.
You’ll get to see a bunch of the animals roaming the acreage of the park, and meet the animal care experts who have formed remarkable bonds with them in this eight-episode series.
