As we look forward to Halloween fun at the Disneyland Resort once more, it’s time to make arrangements to join Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. This distinct ticketed, limited-capacity after-park hours event is jam-packed with tricks, treats, and spooky fun for guests of all ages to enjoy for 25 chosen evenings from Sept. 9 to Oct. 31.
As you approach the gates of Disney California Adventure park, you will notice that Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” has cast his spell, hovering over guests to greet them. With such a spook-tacular host, you know this “bash” will be a blast. Let’s take a peek at some of the incredible events and unique Halloween fun that will be available to partygoers this year:
Immersive Treat Trails – Trick-or-treating isn’t only for kids anymore! Dress up in your Halloween finest and explore the deliciously wicked treat trails – with a variety of sweets offered by Mars Wrigley confectionery goods – under the watchful eyes of known and new favorite characters and villains!
“Frightfully Fun Parade” – The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow opens the performance, riding his ghostly black horse as the frightening leader of this display of cheerful chills and thrills. Get ready to shout because the parade of Disney characters and naughty villains that follows is truly spectacular!
Villains Grove – This is your chance to get into the heads of your favorite villains and explore realms inspired by their exploits and misdeeds. With lighting, projections, music, and special effects, the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is totally changed into Villains Grove, providing a dreamy world suitable for people of all ages. This experience is divided into scenes, each of which creates a hauntingly ethereal environment for you to explore!
“Mickey’s Trick & Treat” – Join Mickey Mouse and his buddies as they host a one-of-a-kind Halloween party in this interactive stage performance! It’s ideal for small ghouls and goblins to enjoy with dancing and not-so-scary terrifying tales.
In addition, partygoers will see familiar characters such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald Duck — as well as villains. You might be shocked by who you meet at this Halloween party, who is eager for photographs and waving.
And… with your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket, you’ll also be able to visit Disney California Adventure park, featuring the all-new Avengers Campus! Another perk: while the party begins at 6 p.m., you will have three hours to play in the park before it begins.
