VIDEO: Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Millennium Falcon Attraction Interior Installation

While we’ve mostly been concentrating on the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge construction going on in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it’s important to note that the Disneyland version is still months ahead of the Walt Disney World one. Today on the YouTube Channel Yensid 55, we got a look at the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Millennium Falcon Attraction Interior Installation in Disneyland.

In the video you see the construction workers shaping the rock formations on top of the attraction show buildings and all of the interiors of the attractions being moved inside. It’s really quite interesting and different from the Hollywood Studios construction of Galaxy’s Edge because there are many good vantage points in Disneyland to see the construction from.

You can watch the whole video here:

This is some concept art released from Disney showing what the Millennium Falcon interior will look like when done. This will be the hallway right before entering the cockpit:

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will have 2 attractions: the Millenium Falcon attraction, which simulates you flying the iconic spacecraft and the First Order Battle Escape which puts you in the middle of an intense battle between the Resistance and First Order onboard a Star Destroyer. Galaxy’s Edge opens in Disneyland in the Summer 2019 and in Hollywood Studios in the Fall 2019.
