Fans of Frozen in Europe won’t have to wait long to meet Anna, Elsa, and Olaf.

The magical land of Arendelle is coming to Disneyland Paris, and the park just gave a first look at Frozen Land, which is based on Disney’s hit “Frozen” movies.

The area is part of a $2.4 billion plan to expand Disneyland Paris, which was announced in 2018. From 2021 on, new things will be added slowly.

Frozen Land is going to open in Paris in 2023. There will also be Frozen Lands in two other places. Tokyo DisneySea’s will open in 2022, but Hong Kong Disneyland hasn’t said when theirs will.

Since the first “Frozen” movie came out in 2013, the franchise has quickly spread to many different parts of The Walt Disney Co., including theme park rides, merchandise, video games, books, a Disney on Ice show, a Broadway stage musical, and two short films.

Box Office Mojo says that “Frozen 2,” the sequel that came out last year, has already made more than $1.4 billion at the box office. This makes it the highest-grossing animated movie of all time.

The first drawing of the land shows a village with a Scandinavian look that is built around a large, 7.4-acre lake that looks like the fjord in the movies. In a press release, the park said that it will have water-based shows with seats that give people a 360-degree view of day and night performances “complete with fountains, music, lights, and special effects.”

The port of Arendelle will be rebuilt at the base of a snow-covered mountain that is more than 130 feet tall. On top of the mountain, there will be a copy of Elsa’s ice palace.

In a 2019 press release, the park said, “As part of the fully immersive land, guests will see the snow-capped mountain of Arendelle in the distance across from a beautiful lake. They will also be able to ride an attraction that will take them to the center of the Kingdom.”

In a special meet-and-greet area, Frozen fans will also be able to meet their favorite characters.

Also in the works are gift shops with Frozen-themed items and souvenirs and a restaurant with a Frozen theme, but what might be on the menu (chocolate? Anna can only hope that) hasn’t already been found out.

Florida already has a little bit of “Frozen.” Since 2016, the Frozen Ever After boat ride at Epcot’s Norway Pavilion in Orlando’s Walt Disney World has taken visitors through the kingdom of Arendelle and up to Elsa’s ice palace.

This ride or a version of it could be the one that takes people around Disneyland Paris, but that hasn’t been confirmed.

As Disneyland Paris grows, there will also be new lands based on the “Star Wars” movie series and the “Marvel Universe.” Each will have its own attractions, shops, restaurants, and chances to meet characters.

In preparation for walking “Into the Unknown,” parents of young Frozen fans or adult Frozen fans can go to a Frozen-themed event at Disneyland Paris four times a day from now until May 3, 2020. Frozen Celebration is a live show on a float in the park’s parade. Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf, along with dancers and acrobats, are in it.
