It’s Official!  Downtown Disney is now Disney Springs!

Tuesday’s official name change is “a huge milestone for us,” said vice president of Disney Springs, Keith Bradford. “There’s plenty more to come.”

Disney Springs is now live online at disneysprings.com and via Twitter at @DisneySprings. And the timing couldn’t be better, with two new one-of-a-kind dining experiences at The Landing: Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar which debuted last week, and Morimoto Asia, officially opening to guests today, September 30, 2015.

“We’ve always got more news coming,” Bradford said.

“We have a ton of announcements that we’re just not ready to share yet.”

Construction on Disney springs is set to conclude by next year, with parts of the transportation corridor and parking structures set to be complete sometime in 2017.  When it is complete, officials say it will be double the size of Downtown Disney.
