Park general manager Adrian Jones later clarified to say they believe the threat was a hoax, but they decided to evacuate “out of an abundance of caution.”
Winter Haven police said Thursday evening that officers found no explosives during a search of the park and its resort hotel.

Police said there were no injuries. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office and officials from the state fire marshal’s office helped police search the park.
Legoland remained closed for the rest of the day Thursday and officials said the park will work with guests to get them new tickets or refunds.

The theme park is set to reopen Today, Friday.
