Disney Springs shoppers can register for the event outside the World of Disney store starting at 6 p.m. on Friday. Participants will be issued numbered wristbands on a first-come, first-serve basis. Disney suggests that Force Friday folks park in the Lime Garage, the northernmost of the two Disney Springs parking facilities.

Major retailers – including Walmart, Apple, Target, Toys R Us, GameStop, Disney Store and others — around the globe are offering up fresh merchandise, some of which is tied to the upcoming “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” The film, starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Mark Hamill, comes to theaters on Dec. 16.
