Shortbread Dough
Instructions
  1. Shortbread Dough
  2. Mix together in a medium mixing bowl and roll to the desired shape.
  3. Apple Charlotte
  4. Divide shortbread dough in half.
  5. Press half of the dough into the bottom of a 13 x 9 baking pan.
  6. Bake in moderate oven 350° for approximately 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Toss apples with the dry mixture in a separate bowl.
  8. Add to the cooled crust, top with remaining crust.
  9. Cut slits for air escape, brush with an egg white wash, and bake for approximately 60 minutes at 350°.
