  1. Slightly toast almonds for 10 minutes at 300 degrees.
  2. Soften butter to room temp and mix all dry ingredients together thoroughly.
  3. Roll ingredients into two logs. Place on parchment paper or greased cookie sheet and brush logs with beaten whole eggs.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes at 300 degrees. Cool logs.
  5. After logs are cool, slice on bias across the log.
  6. Re-cook slices for 20 minutes at 300 degrees until golden brown.
