- 2 sticks unsalted butter softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs lightly beaten
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups plus 2 tbsp whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
- Pinch Salt

Instructions
- Beat butter brown and powdered sugar together in a large bowl of electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, beating until very well combined, about 2 minutes more.
- Whisk together whole-wheat flour, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl.
- Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Add chocolate chips and mix just until combined. Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Scoop dough by the tablespoon onto prepared cookie sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake 9 to12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on cookie sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
