With today’s Tickets In-App update, select tickets purchased within the app will appear as a mobile-friendly QR Code under a new menu option called “My Tickets”.
Once you’ve purchased your mobile tickets and are ready to start making #UniversalMoments, simply head to the gate with your phone, navigate to “My Tickets” in the app, and scan it to enter.
This new functionality is available starting today. Special Florida Residents pricing is planned for an update later this year. For now, our online ticket store is still the place to find the best prices on Florida Resident tickets.
Here are a few more answers to questions you might have.
What happens if I purchase tickets for multiple people in my party? How do they access their tickets?
When you purchase multiple tickets within the app, you can add Guest Information for each ticket and then use the QR Code in the app to scan in those members of your party. And as always, you will also receive a PDF email confirmation, which you can print or forward to members of your party for their use.
If I purchase my tickets online at UniversalOrlando.com, will I be able to access them from the mobile app?
No. Only tickets purchased directly from within the mobile app on the phone they were purchased from will be available in the My Tickets section of the application.
Will Annual Passholders be able to scan their tickets from the mobile app?
The only tickets that are scannable from the app are those sold within the app. At this time, this only includes regularly priced theme park tickets.
Tickets In-App joins useful features like ride wait times, resort maps, and even a spot to take a photo of where you’ve parked your car. It all makes The Official Universal Orlando Resort App a must-have for a day at the parks.
