It seems like the excitement about Harry Potter is getting a little out of hand lately, and that’s definitely because of that long trailer for Hogwarts Legacy that shows a lot of gameplay footage. People talk so much about their houses, wands, and any other magical item you can think of that you’d think we’d all fallen through a time portal back to the mid-2000s, when the books were still coming out. But no, we can’t just get out of the 2020s like that.

Anyway, with all that excitement in the air, there’s no doubt that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios is where many fans will want to go this year. If you can afford it, it will give you a lot of great experiences that any fan of the series will love. But one of the most popular things to do there has been taken away, and no one knows when it might come back.

According to ComicBook, the attraction, which is currently wearing an Invisibility Cloak, is the preshow for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. It happens as people are getting on the ride. The official Universal Orlando Twitter account confirmed that it would be closed for good when a worried fan asked what had happened.

“We apologise for any disappointment. This experience is currently not available, and we do not have information on when it will return, at this time. Please know, your feedback will be documented and shared with the proper Leadership Teams.”

At the moment, we don’t know why the preshow was closed in the first place. As ComicBook points out, there were a lot of people in the park recently because it was spring break, so it could have been put on hold to speed up the lines. But it’s clear that many fans are upset that they didn’t get the full ride experience. Hopefully, Universal will listen to the feedback and get the ride back up and running soon. Rollercoasters are supposed to go up and down a lot, but this isn’t one of those times.
