A wet day at a theme park might sometimes spoil the enjoyment for some visitors, but not if you’re a youngster visiting Disney’s Magic Kingdom!
Cassie Claire Chase shared images and video of the flooded streets of the theme park with FOX 35 News on Thursday after a storm passed through. Instead of huddling beneath whatever shelter they could find, children visited the new ‘water park.’
“Magic Kingdom turned into a waterpark!” she wrote on the Annual Passholders page. “This was around 3pm in between the Cheshire Cat and Cosmic Ray cafes.”
Children can be seen splashing around in the ankle-deep water, and some have even lain down to swim in it!
Nearly 3,000 people commented on the photographs.
“That’s really cool. Disney be like ‘that’s an extra 50.00 for water park entrance.’”
“Wow! Now that looks like a good time.”
“How much of that was backed up sewage?”
