Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Re-Opening Date Announced by Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World announced that Disney’s Polynesian Resort will reopen to visitors on July 19th after a substantial restoration of the Great Ceremonial House and guest rooms.

Although the resort will reopen on July 19th, the new monorail station and main entrance will not be ready for usage. The front desk of the Great Ceremonial House will reopen on July 9th, as will ‘Ohana.

The redesigned guest rooms will also be available on July 19th, providing visitors who check in on that day the first chance to enjoy the new theming.

The new porte cochere will be ready when the Polynesian reopens, and will welcome visitors arriving via Disney Magical Express and valet.
