Guests who wish to go from Disney’s Magic Kingdom theme park to EPCOT will soon have another option.
Disney has announced that the EPCOT monorail service between the two theme parks will be reinstated on July 18.
Since Walt Disney World closed its doors to guests in March 2020, the service has been halted. The shuttle service between the two parks did not restart when the theme parks reopened months later.
Since the first reopening of Walt Disney World last year, monorails have evolved.
Previously, plexiglass partitions were employed to segregate passengers on board. Those barriers have now been removed, as Disney has relaxed coronavirus precautions around the resort.
According to Disney’s website, the monorail system works from 30 minutes before the earliest park opening through one hour after the latest park closure.
