The Rumor mill is in full effect (EDIT: THIS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED – READ MORE HEREand sources are saying that that The Great Movie Ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios may soon be closing and being replaced with “The Great Mickey Ride”.  This attraction could open by the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World in 2021. The attraction is expected to be inspired by Classic Mickey Mouse animated shorts and it is expected to utilize the trackless (LPS) ride system currently in use at Pooh’s Hunny Hunt (Tokyo Disneyland), Mystic Manor (Hong Kong Disneyland) and Ratatouille: The Adventure (Disney Studios Paris).

This is currently still a rumor at this point, as nothing has been officially announced by Disney.
