Disney revealed a glimpse at the robotic version of the 46th President. The Biden animatronic, like past (modern) presidents, will give the presidential oath of office as part of the attraction, utilizing a tape from the White House made by Biden himself.
The Magic Kingdom’s Hall of Presidents attraction has been closed as Imagineers installed the Biden animatronic and repositioned the prior presidents. They also put up a table next to Biden with items related to him, such as aviator sunglasses.
During the performance, previous presidents will continue to surround Biden on stage, including former President Donald Trump’s animatronic, which held center stage from December 2017 until the attraction’s temporary shutdown on January 19, 2021.
The Hall of Presidents will return in August at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. A specific date has not been specified.
