Parking Lot Trams Resume Service at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios After Two-Year Hiatus

EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are welcoming back parking trams, marking the return of this convenient service after a prolonged absence. The suspension of tram services at all four Walt Disney World Parks in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic had left guests making longer journeys from their vehicles to the park entrances. While initially attributed to health and safety concerns, Disney gradually eased COVID-era safety measures, including distancing and mask requirements, as it resumed entertainment and buffet meals.

Magic Kingdom was the first to reintroduce parking trams on December 19, 2021, followed by Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 27, 2022. The resumption of tram services at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios completes the circle, bringing back this convenience to all four Disney parks. The trams’ return comes as a relief for guests who can now enjoy the ease of transportation from the parking lots to the park entrances once again.
