Disney’s Animal Kingdom is one of the world’s most distinctive theme parks. With its emphasis on the living world and genuine creatures, the place may appear to be a basic zoo from the outside, but it is much more than that. However, if you just want to wander through the park and look at different animal cages similar to what you’d see in a zoo, you may do so. However, as some gorillas just discovered, you may find a lot more than you anticipate.
A TikTok user recently shared a video from Disney’s Animal Kingdom that shows the gorilla enclosure being invaded by a snake. Needless to say, the gorillas have no idea what to make of this. The video shows them exploring the grass to figure out what’s going on, however, they’re also terrified because there’s something little crawling around on the ground. Take a look at the videos below.

It’s easy to forget that Walt Disney World is still built on top of a swamp, and as a result, the park still has many species native to the marsh. That occasionally refers to dangerous alligators in Bay Lake, while other times it appears to refer to a random snake in the gorilla cage.
In fact, the entire video is pretty captivating. The gorillas, for the most part, are simply curious. They sense movement in the grass but are unsure what it is. The gorillas find it, and the snake simply seeks shelter. It’s also amusing to witness these massive monsters puzzled by the whole thing. They’re interested in what’s going on, but they don’t want to get too close. Between this and the following video, you can see one of the gorillas’ race away from whatever is causing the grass to move.

This is just one of many reasons why Disney’s Animal Kingdom is so amazing. You never know what will happen while interacting with living beings. It gives a little variation to each theme park visit. Walt Disney wanted real animals in his original Jungle Cruise, and while it was eventually found that this would simply not work, Animal Kingdom achieved Walt’s objective on a scale that he probably could not have anticipated.
We suspect the snake either fled on its own or was spotted and relocated by one of the caretakers. The gorillas were subsequently able to return to their normal lifestyles. Even when there isn’t an intruder in their midst, they put on quite a show.
