Guests at Walt Disney World found themselves in a less than magical position Saturday, stuck on a monorail for hours.

From The orlandosentinel.com: Passengers were headed to Magic Kingdom from the Transportation and Ticket Center, where Magic Kingdom guests park, when the train stopped around 3:30 p.m., according to Jahon Pilichowski, 30, one of the passengers.

“It was kind of bizarre the amount of time it took to get emergency crews out,”

said Pilichowski.

The monorails run on electricity, so passengers didn’t have air conditioning while they waited.

“It became like a greenhouse as soon as it stopped,” Pilichowski said. “All the cars were at full capacity.”

Disney said a mechanical problem appeared to cause the issue. A spokesperson said the system is back online now and no one was hurt.
