Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress

This classic attraction, which debuted at the 1964 World's Fair, traces the impact of technological progress on American daily life from the beginning of the 20th Century to the near future. The theatre actually revolves around four scenes peopled entirely by Audio-Animatronics® figures.

Facts:

The theme song, "Great, Big Beautiful Tomorrow" can also be heard being performed on the television in Epcot in the Horizons attraction.

In the last scene, there is a plush Mickey in a box under the Christmas tree

When the son switches his virtual reality game over to the TV there is a very quick shot of a ship leaving the port on the game. On the back of the ship is a Hidden Mickey!
