Kilimanjaro Safaris  

Climb aboard your open-aired safari vehicle for an exciting expedition. African animals freely roam through acres of savannah, rivers, and rocky hills. Look out for giraffe, gazelle, elephants, rhinos, and lions. But beware, your adventure takes an unexpected turn when poachers are spotted.

When to go - Very popular, visit as soon as the park opens, or in the couple of hours before park closing.

Where to sit - Sit on the outside of the truck for the best views. Those sitting on the driver's side will see the most animals.

Facts:

The safari covers over 110 acres.

There are climate-controlled rocks on the safari, to encourage the lions to sit in view of the safari vehicles.

The safari vehicles are modified GM trucks, and go a maximum of 10mph..
